A Continually Evolving, Never Predictable Product is basically available (since November) to those who ask. It's not a major release per se, and the first run of CD-Rs are essentially limited edition.

The next CD, which is essentially a collage recycling of unfinished ideas and experiments is coming along well with over 45 minutes of material being close to final mix. There is still a lot to do but it's coming together fast.

I've given some thought to services such as Paypal or CD Baby for distribution. Generally I distribute a tiny amount of my projects without any heavy promotion – and often get criticized for not having an easy way to purchase online. It's difficult to fully provide so third parties are really the only choice, but also the larger entity that is the commercial music industry has no place for what I do. It does also seem that a larger amount of independant music is available on labels such as Erstwhile and from the artists themselves. That is nice to see.

I'm still not sure what I would want to do...

A Continually Evolving, Never Predictable Product was completed at the end of August with the exception of the artwork getting printed. I've been working on getting the copies distributed in the meantime. But it is done, or as done as it could ever be. A certain number of people are getting copies from it soon, and further information on acquiring this release will be posted shortly.

There is a rough mix of a new track from an upcoming CD project to be heard in the Listen section.

A Continually Evolving, Never Predictable Product has been burned to it's first batch of CD-Rs and will be available by the end of the month. The first "pressing" comes with limited edition packaging featuring black CD-R media and matching black Variopac trigger-release cases.

Musically I'd file this one under the genres of electronic music, soundtrack and cut-up collage.

Work continues on overhauling this site and the release of the ACENPP CD.

The site updates have suffered the fate of many of my projects and get second-shift to my day job and other obligations. I'm fairly happy with this revision knowing that when it is complete it will be standards-compliant and more cohesive to containing the span of my musical projects. However during the period this site lies dormant I'm mixing and mastering music that is long overdue. It will all hit in one big bang it seems.

The first run of the ACENPP disc will have limited edition packaging, complete with custom CD-R discs and Variopac cases with artwork. The third track from the disc, Noise Follows Me, has been removed since it wasn't in line with the dirge/soundtrack aesthetic of the other two tracks, which makes this one of my shortest CD releases ever. Noise Follows Me will appear as it's own mini-album as I've decided to break the 20+ minutes into individual tracks instead of one long singular piece. This will also be released on custom CD-R by year's end or thereabouts. Anyone that is curious should know that the custom CD-Rs have been purchased from 5inch.com.

Additionally I've purchased a new Roland SPD-S sampling drum pad. Along with my other newest instrument, a Fender electric violin, I expect to be able to explore some new avenues. The violin sort of appears on the upcoming mini-album mentioned in the previous paragraph. Though I've played violin as a child my chops are currently non-existent, so it will be some time before I nail down my own style.

Ongoing revised site design begins in preparation for some new releases.

A few minor bugs with IE and Safari on OS X are still lingering.

12.16.02

Site coding updated - finally. Cleaner CSS and lots of additions that missed out with the quick redesign I did about a year ago.

11.02.02

A Continually Evolving, Never Predictable Product inches nearer and nearer to completion. The final movement of the disc is still in production, and won't likely be done until the end of the year or later. Also in works are videos to some unreleased tracks which will become my first DVD "album".

06.01.02

Updated the new CD cover art to the nearly final version. Still working on the navigation and other parts of the site (there is no link back to home!) - bear with me.

04.27.02

New look and standards-compliant web site released. Updated discography to include the first years of cassette work.

Production has begun on A Continually Evolving, Never Predictable Product, my first CD release in over two years. Following that the unfinished CD project that has been listed on this site for so long will be released.

I'm also considering the very small release of a soundscape I did for a sculpture installation titled Four from Three, though this project is less accessible than my other soundtrack work.
